I've heard that Magnesium Gycinate 500 mg is helpful for sleep. Is this true? I know nothing about it. Thanks!

I have not heard of this product in particular: Magnesium Gycinate 500 mg. However, here is what I know on Magnesium. Several studies have shown that Magnesium can assist your sleep, whether you are a chronic insomniac or experience poor sleep on occasion. When one takes Magnesium it should be taken in balanced portions of 2 parts calcium and 1 part Magnesium. Calcium supplementation will vary based on age and medical/health condition. For more vitamin advice, there is a whole section on vitamins in my new book: Good Night: The Sleep Doctor's 4 Week Program to Better Sleep and Better Health.
