I don't know how I am supposed to dress. Casually, I wear the same stuff I always have - jeans, t-shirts, etc. At work I try to wear suits but I really like a more casual style. I am 58 and have the thick waist that most 50-year-old women get. I hate it. My legs are okay. It's just that fat middle.

There are many ways to help you look your best. It might be worthwhile to have a consultant do a body-type analysis on you so that you understand what styles would work best on you. If you have great legs, show them off in skirts, but avoid any detail at the waist. Try a wrap-style top or a top with ruching/gathers on the sides to slim your waist. Draw attention up to your face with accessories instead of putting the detail at your waist or hips. Also, try mixing up your wardrobe by taking your professional tops and jackets and pairing them with casual pants or jeans. Don't forget to accessorize! You can really dress up a casual look with a few good pieces.
